said i felt uneasy
turned your back towards me
to fall asleep
to the sound of a fan
and the glow of a screen
i’ve been lucid dreaming
it’s a trippy feeling
awake and asleep
at the same time it seems
but it’s still just a dream
dopamine
reality
in my mind
a fog machine
chemicals
fluorescent bulbs
burnin bright til the sun comes up
staring at the ceiling
really gets me reeling
a million ways to day
count the dots behind my eyes
to stay alive
dopamine
reality
in my mind
a fog machine
chemicals
fluorescent bulbs
burning bright til the sun comes up

I think it's difficult to write songs about something other than romantic love, and still be able to communicate the intensity with which those feelings can hit a person. Some of the entries on this album are fantastic examples of this niche. dani_bloop
Hard Rock is my heart, Synthwave is my soul. Keepsake was a great addition to my musical tastes and collection; Now comes... Giving The World Away. By far my favorite track is "Take My Hand." It definitely resonates '80s and one band in particular... The Cure. If only Robert Smith would listen to this; I could only imagine what a collaborative effort between the two would possibly sound like.
