well it’s been a while since the last time i saw you
and it’s been a while since i have even thought of you
feels so far away now but you know it’s true
that i can’t erase it even if i wanted to
oh
on my hands and knees
spitting my teeth
and blood on the street
and in the hospital
you didn’t come for me
you wouldn’t come for me
and so i had to leave
in the basement
bleeding out of my hand
i called him he said
“comin’ fast as i can”
and in the hospital
his whole face turned green
but he stayed brave just for me
he stayed brave just for me

I think it's difficult to write songs about something other than romantic love, and still be able to communicate the intensity with which those feelings can hit a person. Some of the entries on this album are fantastic examples of this niche. dani_bloop
Hard Rock is my heart, Synthwave is my soul. Keepsake was a great addition to my musical tastes and collection; Now comes... Giving The World Away. By far my favorite track is "Take My Hand." It definitely resonates '80s and one band in particular... The Cure. If only Robert Smith would listen to this; I could only imagine what a collaborative effort between the two would possibly sound like.
